Would you believe we have most of the original programmers and developers of Urath Age 3 - 5? Over five years of Urath history? Im not kidding, and we are talking! Im not going to say much yet but the fact is we have about 10 forum threads you CANT see, and the topic is HOT and HEAVY!!

I’ll toss out a few hints..
1. Our own engine so we can do what the hell we want to!
2. Form a real company? hmmmm…

Nice thing is our dream in life is to make a game that we love to play… Yea thats been said before.. But… What if a group could really do it? The perfect MMO… *long sigh*

I’ll share what I can when I can when the dust starts to settle!

Despite the injury to my shoulder a few years ago I decided to start body building again.  I figure at forty years old If I don’t do it now Its never going to happen again.   My only concern is the meniscus I tore in my right shoulder will flair up again.  They wanted to do surgery but I’m done with surgeries!

Wish me luck.  I’ll keep you posted.

fireworks1.jpgI just read the latest issue of Max.  I thought it was funny they put an article in there about the best fireworks money can buy that give the best BANG!   Then to the right of that article, in another column, was instructions on how to gather your finger (and pieces of flesh from your shirt) after an accident with fireworks.  Leave it to Max to think up some sh*t like that.

Have a great time this fourth!

dsc00781.JPGIs it me or have tattoo artists become very picky about what they paint on your skin these days? I decided a few weeks ago I wanted to get more ink on my skin but I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to add.
We did a bit of research and the my wife and I came to pretty much an agreement, anything but “evil”.
So we got a baby sitter (thanks Mom), and at noon on Sunday, hit the strip on high street in search of an artist that had an open time slot for about four hours of work.
The first place had one artist who was free and basically didn’t really seem to interested in doing anything. So we left.
The second place we stopped just flat out stated he had no interest in doing that kind of work and pretty much talked me right out of the store.
The third store said it would take a few days to do the drawing (most of which I had already done up) and said we could schedule an appointment in a few weeks. I left.
The fourth place we wandered up on looked a bit shady from the outside. I was half tempted at this point just to call it a day and head home, but I looked at my wife and said “wanna give this one a try?’
So in we went.
The artist was outside smoking a cigarette and his first comment was “Your not even going to let me finish this smoke are you?”
Right off the bat I thought “here we go again.
He instructed us to head up stairs and check out some of the flash books they had spread out in the lobby.
Once we got him in the shop he did seem interested in doing some work. I showed him some of my examples and he started to draw it out. Within an hour we had the exact art I had in my head and he begin to work.
About three hours later I was out with my new tat and very happy.
The lesson I pulled from all this was never judge a book (or shop) by its cover.
